There are several tough challenges we need to take for doing mobile online game in Malaysia.
A study by IDC found
"the lack, or slow development, of mobile infrastructure in some countries in Asia may have an impact on the mobile online games market."But we can see the grow of mobile infrastructure in Malaysia. 3G and Hi-speed 3G coverage in Malaysia is expanding aggressively. You might think that you're not going to use 3G, not necessary, just like when I thought that I am not going to use broadband, not necessary while I'm happy with the dial-up.
What? Happy with the dial-up? You mean the name or the dialling pulse? It might sounds funny when you heard this but, when broadband internet is not that popular in Malaysia, I actually do have that thought.
What I am trying to tell is, whatever you think about the Hi-speed mobile internet, it is already infested all over Malaysia's infrastructure, and you are going to use it, sooner or later in the future.
Besides, they also said
"by 2012, there will be a steady growth of mobile online gamers in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. It attributed this to the greater availability of mobile content and high speed data connection for mobile phones, as well as the stability of mobile network coverage."Greater availability of mobile content... Who is going to start it off if we don't? That's why I wrote "We challenge the Challenges". Yes, we are taking the challenge, we, are going to be the "Greater".
And we will start off our contribution to the "Greater" from doing Elven Legends, the first mobile online game for a greater Malaysia.
